Pots make beautiful accent pieces tucked in amongst the plants of your flower beds.

With or without plants, single pieces or group arrangements provide attractive focal points in your landscape.

Visit Potting Shed Antiques for ideas on using pottery pieces to enhance your garden

Terra-cotta pots are the standard choice, and for good reason; because they're more absorbent than other pots, they are the best for herbs and other plants  that prefer dry,  light soil.  Just be sure to wet them before using for the first time; doing so means the water for a newly potted plant will be absorbed by the soil instead of the pot.  Immerse the pots in a tub of water until air bubbles no longer rise to the surface.
